Years of shooting the local music scene in Santa Barbara and taking his camera with him to see some bigger names at smaller venues, made it possible for Larry to produce a portfolio that led to his current position as house photographer for the Santa Barbara Bowl. "The Bowl" is a 4,500-seat amphitheater whose scenic beauty and superb acoustics attract some of the biggest names in the industry.

The close of the 2009 concert season marked Larry's 9th year documenting live music for the venue.
